= to waste • lay waste
= make desolate • ruins
= be dry • dried up
(without moisture)
(without "water")
= to attack • smite down
= slay • fight
What does spiritual "drought" look like?
"Drought" is caused by a lack of water.
If we apply today's Word to "Water" of the Word of God .. we quickly find an application pointing to a time of a lack of the Word of God .. which at first seems impossible in today's world but in reality fulfills the saying:
"Water .. water everywhere .. but not a drop to drink."
...or we could say:
"Bibles .. Bibles every where .. but not a minute/real desire to read."
So it is fitting to find the *Accuser* right in the middle of this *drought* .. as we continue to consider number G2725 .. found in the Greek.

Where do we find these *accusers*.. ones void of the Water of the Word?
We find them everywhere .. in public assemblies .. in the street .. in government .. the marketplace .. anywhere people gather.
...Luke 7:32-34...

We have piped unto you, and
ye have not danced;
we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

What are the *accusers* really saying?
Aren't they saying .. We accuse you of not "getting with our program" .. you have not danced to our tune .. or yielded to our instructions or our attempts to control your behavior.
Further more these rebellious ones accuse non-participants of their agenda .. of believing and following evil people .. accusing John the Baptist of being "puritanical" yet demon possessed 🙄 .. and then .. *accusing* Jesus of being a hypocrite by spending time with sinners .. while He was really bringing the message of salvation to them.

There is an eternal price to pay for being found among *accusers*.
