hath requited me."
The Hebrew describes the "quick lightning" of God's judgment .. and His method reminds us of Jesus' second commandment to love our neighbor .. or "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" .. but here it becomes a curse and negative response instead of a blessing.
The Hebrew verifies that the "quick lightning" is God's judgment .. in a flash God knew exactly what type of judgment this wicked king was asking for.
Symbolically .. and biologically .. thumbs and great toes represent "heads"/"Authority".. so to remove thumbs and great toes was a way of bringing perpetual humiliation to others .. especially others who held positions of authority.
Therefore God was sending a message to the captured wicked one .. one who had found gratification in perpetual humiliation of the kingly authority of those he had conquered.
In this way .. God was sending a message to the one who had become the "head" of many heads holding a position as "ultimate" kingly authority .. while God Himself was the ultimate "Head" and able .. as such .. to remove heads .. and positions of authority .. very quickly .. when they make themselves enemies .. and try to humiliate God's people.
This was a more significant .. and detailed reminder .. than any other punishment God's enemy could have received.

This journey found in the Greek reminds us that we are the "fish" going to the Father's "House" .. to "dwell" forever with Him .. escaping the darkness to enjoy Him and our "heavenly family".. a journey that began in our earthly "temple".. headed to hell's "dungeon" but through Christ .. were "restored" and "established" to "rebuild" our earthly "family" and join our "heavenly family".. even "obtaining" "repairing".. and "caring" for "orphan children".. "spreading God's fame" and goodness worldwide .. as we bring forth the "Light from God's Word and Lamp" for all "to view"/see.
