We have reason to rejoice.
God provides salvation .. righteousness .. and joy because He desires to bring His people .. into a beautiful .. rich .. relationship with Him .. forever bound by love.
God desires that we "advance" in every good thing we do .. and has provided all we need to "go on".. "go forward".. "pass by".. "removing" anything and everything that would hinder our "advancement."

"His Blood".. yes, His precious Blood is now available to us all .. when we repent .. turning from going our own way .. receive His Blood as payment for sin .. and gratefully follow Him.
These people .. had no idea what they were saying.
Pilate proclaimed Jesus to be "innocent".. yet the most valuable Blood of Jesus was poured out to "advance" the Kingdom of God .. inspite of our seemingly .. hopeless and impossible .. unworthy position before God.

Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ .. for providing your Blood as the only Way to forsake our old life and "advance" into all the eternal blessings found in our new relationship with You.
