...From root possibly referring to "mute." ...Creatures that do not speak.

   creatures

  non human creatures

[Turning Point]

...Gen.6...
=Devil is cursed for 
   tempting man
=destruction begins
=every creature becomes
  spiritually and
  physically corrupt in
  DNA
=God regrets creation
   .. desires to destroy
   everything in Gen.6:

"And
GOD saw that
the wickedness of man 
was great in the earth,
and
that every imagination
of the thoughts
of his heart
was only evil continually.
And
it repented the LORD
that he had made man
on the earth,
and
it grieved him
at his heart.
And
the LORD said,
I will destroy man
whom I have created
from the face of the earth; both man,
and
beast,
and
the creeping thing,
and
the fowls of the air;
for it repenteth me
that I have made them."

...BUT...NOAH...

"But Noah
found grace
in the eyes
of the LORD.
These are
the generations
of Noah:
Noah was a just
man and perfect
in his generations,
and
Noah walked with God."
(Gen.6:5-9)

   While the # 6 represents destruction... the #8 found in [H8082] referred to in verse #8 leads us to "fat"-"successful"-"rich"-"strong".. also speaking of .. infinity .. something that is not final .. but always gives hope for a Way to continue.
   In this case .. it was Noah's righteousness that God was using to emphasize that our desire to do what is right has the power .. in the eyes of God .. to turn around a situation that at first appears to be hopeless.
   In this case everything corrupted had to be destroyed so God could give mankind and all creatures a new beginning.
   This is the method and pattern God uses when sin destroys His creation and can no longer be tolerated.
   God protects those who strive to do what is right according to His definitions presented in His Holy Word by carefully removing them out of harm's way .. and then cleanses the earth by destroying the corrupt .. wicked .. and rebellious.
   If we continue to follow [H929] .. we recognize all of the examples given in the Old Testament that reveal this method God uses over and over again to remove sin and cleanse the earth .. such as God's people crossing the Red Sea to escape Egypt (symbolizing slavery and the world system at that time) .. and Lot's family removed from morally corrupt Sodom before destruction.

   In the Greek we see confirmation regarding man's self destruction finding the same number [929] as in the Hebrew ... giving us the sad consequences for man's rebellion in the last Book of God's Book:
=torment of hell..(Rev.9:5)
=God's wrath and
   punishment..(Rev.18:7)

Luke 3:16-17

"John answered,

saying unto them all,
I indeed baptize you with water;
but
one mightier
than I cometh,
the latchet
of whose shoes
I am not
worthy to unloose:
he [Jesus]
shall baptize you
with the Holy Ghost

and
with fire:
Whose fan
is in his hand,

will gather the wheat
into his garner;
