Rapture...Exodus Escape...Moses at the Mountain

... Therefore ... while study in tandum from the Word of God is recommended

... for a quick read

... here is a condensed version of the escape found in the Book of Exodus ... that seems to be providing a vivid picture of our own imminent escape:

● God's people are captive slaves in Egypt.

    •"Egypt" representing the "world."

● The world is persecuting God's people.

● The world refuses to let God's people go.

● After sending many troubles against the world at last God sends pestilence upon the world.

• However ... God's  people covered by the Blood of the Lamb
.. are confined in their
homes as the angel of death passes by.  (This is the Passover).

● God's people leave the world's control the next day:

• through the Red Sea
(again "red" like the
Blood of the Lamb
.. and "sea" as God 
"rightly divides" the
"Water" (of the Word).

• then God's people go into the "wilderness" where they must overcome the worry of having their needs met .. without access to the
world's provision.

● At last God's people arrive at the mountain:

    • "mountain" [H2022]

       = promotion
          .. the way up

       = House of God 

       = (Father's House 😊)

● God's "Voice like a trumpet" commands Moses to "Come up!"
    ... (see Rev. 4)

● However ... only Moses and Aaron are allowed to go up.  Could it be because they were the only ones living up to their names?

     "Moses" [H4872]

     = drawn from the water
        ..one who is in the Water
        ..in the first place 😊
        .."Water of the Word"

     = rescued

     "Aaron" [H175]

      = Light bringer

         (one who shares the

         Light of God's Word)

● Exodus 19:15-25:

         "Be ready on the 3rd day"
