Conclusion:

At the threshingfloor... pressure is applied to the wheat ... causing the chaff to separate from the wheat ... and the wheat to separate from the chaff

... before the wind ("Holy Spirit") finally completes the separation

... providing a picture of likely ... persecution ... and ... very unpleasant pressure ... occurring between forces of good and evil ... just before the Rapture.

This time of testing ... pressuring believers ... is meant to finalize God's intention to make us ready ... as we separate from the cold ... dark ... world ... keeping us purely "hot"... without any "lukewarm"-ness to hinder our departure in the Rapture.

It is not meant to totally crush or grind us ... but by the Holy Spirit (wind) ... to bring us to an empty place in our own life ... that will give us a desire ... to separate from the world ... and ... draw closer to the Lord Jesus ... so He can provide Holy Spirit Oil ... from the Word of God ... to strengthen ... and count us worthy to escape.

In this first verse of ZAIN ... David also validates what it means to have a personal relationship with Almighty God.  

God does, in fact, speak specific Words to those who serve Him ... and there are times when we should remind God of the Words He has given us to generate hope

... BUT ... not because God can ever forget what He has said ... but because our reminding Him ... reminds us
... causing us ... to experience hope again and again ... enabling us to remain patient ... until our "hope" actually becomes a reality.

What is the source of King David's affliction?

The affliction he is suffering ... is coming from "the proud"... the arrogant ... presumptuous ... puffed up ... rebellious ... ignorant ... deceived.  

In other words ... it is coming from those who are not submitted to the Authority of God and His Word

... the unbelievers ... scorners ... mockers ... false accusers ... that are arrogantly talking against David.

However ... even though he is suffering under this affliction from his enemies ... it has not caused him to turn away from God's Law

... nor has he minimized it in any way ... but confidently remains steadfast in his love for the Word of God.

Following the Alpha and Omega style of the Word of God ... in this 52nd verse

... King David returns to the beginning of ZAIN (v.49) to demonstrate

... to give us his personal example ... of how reminding God ... results in reminding ourselves

... regarding the perpetual hope that is available to us through the Holy Word of God.

Here we have been given David's testimony to the fact that this perpetual hope

... in which we can find perpetual comfort

... existed in the Word of God ... from the very beginning.

In the beginning ...

...What was the basis of this hope?

The hope and comfort King David experienced ... and we can experience today

... originates with a humble lamb ... first represented by a physical lamb from a flock of sheep ...  that was slain to symbolically pay for sins

... leading us to the Son of God ... also called "the Lamb of God"

... also called "the Word of God"

... who actually shed His Blood on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.

In this way ... the lamb became the symbol of our salvation in Christ

... and eating the lamb at Passover ... became a perpetual reminder that the lamb was also meant to be eaten

... bringing us an additional ... very important reminder

... that our spiritual life is nourished by eating the Word of God

... reading the Written and hearing the spoken Word that would one day exist in written ... and even digital form.

Cain and Abel. . .

Is it just "ironic" that the first lamb sacrificed was also placed in a context of conflict between brothers ... ending in murder?

... or ... was our heavenly Father establishing the primary place of focus regarding our worship of Him

... and the pattern of behavior that would always surround worship?

At its core ... the topic of worship and the primary place of focus has always been a heart issue

... how God created our hearts to worship Him

... not about the systems of theology of mere men ... rebellious and ignorant in the Word and will of God

... theologies which were created ... in order to steal the focus from the heart by making "HOW one speaks"

... of more importance than WHAT God is actually saying

... placing eloquence and man's own intellect above the simplicity of the actual Word of God

... like Cain ... who focused on his own performance and what he thought ... instead of what God actually said and actually required in worship.

This perpetual hope ... found in the specific Living Word ... and ... specific Written Word

... was also going to be perpetually in conflict with self-determined worship of rebellious worldlings

... bent on deciding for themselves how they would worship

... it would always be in conflict with God's established requirements found in His Holy Word.

... And ... unfortunately ... rebellious worldlings throughout history would continue to hate and murder those who were obedient to the Word and will of God

... even to the very end of history on Earth.

... powerful ... positive or negative ... frequency.

When explored scientifically ... reveal an even greater understanding of the power that resides in the Word of God ... which can spiritually ... as well as physically ... affect the heart of man.

(When speech is afflicted ... therapy that involves re-training by slowly singing the words ... has been found to be very effective.)

The Bible is truly a Living document ... the Source of our faith that brings God's message of salvation.  What a miracle !! 

When we hear these Words ... the Spirit of God that resides in His Word ... has the power to bring eternal Life into our heart and soul.

David understood ... so demonstrated this spiritual concept ... by physically turning the Word of God into psalms ... songs designed to harmonize the heart of man ... with the heart of God

... bringing hope and a future in God's loving presence ... which is actually ... the true purpose of God's Word and Law.

Our relationship with our Creator is not based on systems of theology mixed with men's opinions and historically redefined words

... The relationship to our Creator is based on a joyful song of redemption that comes from our heart as we embrace the spiritual wisdom and protection provided by God's specific ... loving instruction

... found in His specific Word and statutes ... as He carefully has outlined a course in life that will guarantee our joy and eternal life ... bringing us safely into His loving arms.

This is the very reason Paul and Silas sang in prison ... which just happened to be their "house of pilgrimage"... at that moment.

They understood the power of singing the Word of God and were ... therefore ... drawing hope and comfort ... into their hearts ... from it.
